BMC Vedette boat engine for sale. Looks like an alloy sump on it. Might help with block rigidity on race engines.
If anyone buys it, can I have the waterpump off of it???

Nah. I couldn't dance the funky chicken if I tried! I'm still getting to grips with learning to walk without sticks at the moment.

I used to drive that cream coloured Lenham but it is languishing under a tarpaulin in the garden, unloved and unwanted. I can't get into it, or at least I wouldn't be able to get back out!

I tried making an alloy sump once but never finished it. Can't remember what I did with the bits. Hmmm.



That front casting seems to follow the design of the earlier Morris 8 style Vedette in that the front casting/cover has space to add a magneto behind the front right engine mount, similar to the mag engine Austin 7.

Nah! Just fractured 3 vertebrae, slipped and burst 2 discs and knocked one vertebra out of position (Think 'JENGA')

I twisted in my seat to pick up a book whilst I had my seatbelt on. Bang!
