MG Midget and Sprite Technical - clutch plate 1275 cc
Is the clutch driven plate for a 1275 the same as the driven plate for a MK111 spitfire or triumph toledo?? They are all 6 1/2" with 10 splines but is the friction material different? |

Any thoughts? |

Unipart says not; dims the same but part numbers different... |

David Do you have access to information on MK1 Sprite clutch plate. Can you confirm that, apart from outside diameter, it also is the same as 1275 driven plate. Ta! Alan |

Alan, the Unipart catalogue (1996 version) only gives diameter in mm and part number, and cross-references. The Frog is shown as GCP102AF 160mm - same as A35/A40, early Minor, early Herald and Spits. |

Thanks Dave, Moss list the 1275 plate and the MK 111 1300 spit as GCP 212. I have found a mk111 spit on but marked GCP 222 and i wonder if its ok to use? |
Bob Beaumont |
I think Moss are wrong - there's a surprise. Unipart cat agrees with you Bob - 212 = 1275 Spridget, 222 = 1300 Spit |

Thanks Dave Appreciate you checking |

Thankyou David |
