MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Cosworth Midget
Guys, I have just got the shell back after the trial fitting of the cosworth engine and type 9 gearbox, all looks good so far but will need a small bonnet bulge. The plan now is to weld the engine mounts in the final position with the dummy engine and then i plan to start to build up on the car anything that I may need to modify the shell for before i strip it for paint. Colour will probably be healey ice blue. Thanks Andy ![]() |

Is the engine the YBF and will you be using it normally aspirated or turbo-charged? |
Daniel Stapleton |
Hi Daniel Its a cosworth yb from a 2wd sierra, planning to have it normally aspirated poss on throttle bodies Should be able to get 230 from it Regards Andy |

Blimey Andy - nice garage. I would live in there happily. Good work Fella! |

Greybeard, thanks appreciate your comments, it did take a few long days !! Looks a bit fuller with the other shell in it now ! |

Andy, speak with Will Corry If you haven't totally committed to the YB, i believe he has the perfect engine for you (i believe it will use any existing mounts for the YB) |
