MG Midget and Sprite Technical - dash board light switch
Final found a use for the dashboard light switch my heater fan switch finaly gave up so just shorted the two wires for the dashboard lights and wired the fan switch to it .I may get a mgb heater switch and swap them so it shows the fan on it. |

Used mine for a map reading lamp, it's very rarely used and less so for reading a map. I wish I'd thought of your idea of using the space for the blower switch. |

I did the same many years ago. I did think about trying to fix the original switch recently but decided I prefer it this way. Cheers, Dave ![]() |

Dave, what's all the extra wiring for and what's hanging in the driver's footwell (washer starter button?) and fitted under the parcel shelf? |

Nigel, The picture was taken with the stereo dropped - hence the extra wiring hanging down. The electric washer switch is hanging in the footwell and a twin 12v accessory socket fitted below the parcel shelf. It was the only picture I had to hand showing the fan switch reasonably clearly..... Cheers, Dave |

Cheers Dave, I was just curious. Electric washer, stereo (not mono) and auxiliary sockets - you've got the GL trim level! |
