MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Deleting bypass hose.

I am in the process of rebuilding my engine and due to an unfortunate delay from a supplier will have to use a spare standard A+ cylinder head without bypass hose take off.
I know I have to drill some holes in the thermostat, the question is what size and how many?

Hmm, I'm not sure if I have one or two Graham but the 3/16" hole or two seems OK...

I used a Metro water pump to make up for no bypass from the pump and run the pipe through my Titan manifold to the heater

Cheers, guys, so maybe 2 x 3mm holes as a compromise?

Likewise one hole about 4mm in mine I think.

I drill all my stats ...2 holes 1/8th inch dia

Actually i drill one hole and remove the giggle pin
