MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Deleting bypass hose.
I am in the process of rebuilding my engine and due to an unfortunate delay from a supplier will have to use a spare standard A+ cylinder head without bypass hose take off. I know I have to drill some holes in the thermostat, the question is what size and how many? Graham. |

Hmm, I'm not sure if I have one or two Graham but the 3/16" hole or two seems OK... I used a Metro water pump to make up for no bypass from the pump and run the pipe through my Titan manifold to the heater |

one hole, 4mm |

Cheers, guys, so maybe 2 x 3mm holes as a compromise? Graham. |

Likewise one hole about 4mm in mine I think. |
