MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Ebay wants to delete me.. real or scam?
I got an email.from.ebay this morning saying because I havent signed into my account in some time, bought or sold anything they want to delelt me.... it sounds strange to me I have used ebay to look up stuff very recently, so id think that qualifies as "signing in" but its true, I havent purchased anything in a long time So is this a phising scam from russia, or is ebay trying to extort money from me by forcing me to buy / sell or be erased and deleted Prop |

Prop, assuming you use a mouse, right click on the email address as it appears in the 'from' box on your email page. What address details is it showing? |

...also, is it asking you to click on a link within the email to login? |

Prop - please login and change your password ASAP. Ebay was seriously compromised some months ago and thousands promptly changed their passwords, to the extent that it was nearly impossible to get onto the site for a day. The least you need to do to protect yourself is change it. Cheers. |
