MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Engine fails to start - it was and then stopped
Hi The car, Blackie, passed his MOT and after a quick spin I brought him back to the house. It was running on the drive for 10 minutes or so and then stopped, Turns over no problems. I have fuel to the float bowl and sparks at the plugs. Any thoughts before I cry!!! |

Check that the choke control is operating freely; if it sticks on choked the car won't restart easily when hot. |

Nick - coincidence or otherwise but checked choke was fully in - turned a couple of times and he started up!! It may have been that I had not unlocked the cable - so I am happy again!!! Where in Devon Nick - I'm in Beaford |
