MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Extended Trunnion Bolts and Triangulation Links
Morning all, An update from a couple of threads a few months back (for those of you not on FB). I finally picked up my custom made extended trunnion bolts yesterday and thus have all the bits for my triangulation link kit. Love a bit of shiny, custom go faster bits :-D I have/had enough bits for five pairs of links - all of which have found homes already. But if anyone is interested I might do another run of them. Enjoy your weekends everyone, Malc. ![]() ![]() |

Nice. If only shiny new front dampers were as available. 😐 |

I presume you'll paint it all black though Malcolm ;-) |
Bill Bretherton |
Blimey you might have to paint the rust on them. Lets hope you get a good coat of oil and grease spray on them from other components in the car to build up a good layer for road grime to stick to as shiny parts can be distracting so a safety hazard with your head under the wheel arch - but I expect a 16 valver would be wearing sunglasses anyway. 😋 |

Done a good job on them Malc. Like it. Mine of similar design have been working well for almost 10 years. |
Rob Armstrong |
Why it's the lesser spotted purple striped Armstrong! What are you doing in these parts? ;-) |
Malcolm |
I pop in now and again to see what's happening and raid the archives. Mostly to remind myself what I've previously said (is that an age thing?) |
Rob Armstrong |
No Rob, its common after years of alcohol (ab)use LOL!!! |
A de Best |
Are they negative trunnion bushes Malc? |
Jeremy MkIII |
Jeremy Shame for putting Malc down, surely it is a positive thing that he has had these bolts made! (Sorry, been a humourless slog of a working day) Cheers Mike |
M Wood |
LOL Mike, Hope tomorrow is better, at least it's POETS day. |
Jeremy MkIII |
lol. They are standard bushes Jeremy. |
Malcolm |
Cheers Malc, it's a ery neat job you've done there. |

Thanks. It's been in development for a few months. It's fairly simple on the face of it. But when you get into the detail, the packaging of it all is a bit of a PITA to get right due to the various clearances, rod end angles etc. |
