MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Frog getting greener!
I completed spraying the inside of the shell today - weather too good here not to use. Seam sealer and primer yesterday and colour today. I wasn't that fussy with it as most of it doesn't show. Awkward spraying back of footwell and underside of scuttle so a few runs and messy bits. But more progress. Sometimes you can only spend so long on a job. Bill ![]() |

looking smart Bill. painting is one of the most satisfying parts of a resto for sure |

Yes Malcolm, I agree, I much prefer spraying to welding. Although most of the time is spent on preparation of course. The sealing took ages and that was mostly using a caulking gun. The shell was supplied in etch primer so I only had to lightly abrade and panel wipe it. I greatly admire people who start with a rotting shell. This is still taking me too long! Bill |

Nice green that - congrats on your progress willy |

Good work Bill, I agree with you, painting is the cure for the welding, grinding, cutting, welding , grinding blues ! |

Thats a good looking color ... and nice job |

Actually the colour is showing as too light - I took the picture in the dark with my cheapish tablet (Hudl) using an LED light. It's BRG and the following picture of the boot floor is much more accurate. Thanks for the compliments though, hope you still like the colour! Bill ![]() |

Which BRG is it? Mines supposed to be Jag, but have lost track of colour code.

Rover GN29 from Jawel paints. One they do at a "deal" price. They also do rattle cans of it - very useful! Bill |
