MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Frogeye hood/ tonneau turn buckle fixing

I need to fit new turn buckles to the upper front of the rear wings for hood/ tonneau fitting. I've just got some from Moss but they don't list screws for them. Frogeye Spares list what look like countersunk self tappers - is this what I need?

(I have an old wing for measurements btw).

do you mean the turn buttons at the top of the B post ? If so they are pop riveted to the wing

Bob, yes, top of B posts. I presume you mean standard pop rivets which I have. Should they be fitted before or after paint?

Hi Bill, yes standard pop steel rivets. I used plated ones so they don't rust. Yes fit after paint.
