If you bought that you'd be scared to use it

Amazing! The estimate for that Alvis looks very low. They say it's had a glass-out retrim and repaint for £9k - I don't think that's realistic, retrimming alone would cost that surely?

Why was it never registered, did the children never pass their driving tests?

Interesting to see the spare ignition key still attached to the pedal box cover.

Thats a bad deal I fear

If it really is only 162 miles ... then the entire car is going to need a complete rebuild...everything rubber or plastic has to be replaced, id especially be concerned about the wiring, its got to be the equvilant of peanut brittle...brittle being the key word

But I question the story of this car...

The driver seat looks worn, it sits high in the air like a 4x4 muddin truck, and the soft top actually stretched taut without ever seam being torn apart in the process, and the tires look new (hope fully there new)

This car has to many bed bugs for my taste, but for the right price tag ... this would make a great donor car, if yours got T BONED and you just needed a new body to transfer everything to.

I just have a nagging gut feel the actual milage is 100,018

I used to be an optimist then I turned 12 years old

Nice base for a Konversion ;P

Could be fun in 3 years convincing mot tester about tests with it being a 2014 registered car.
mark 1500 Lights on at the end of the tunnel

Most importantly....its got a handbook.

It must be worth that sort of money but if you bought it you wouldn't want to drive it!
Slightly shocked at the estimate for the rusty Isetta. There used to be one just along the road from our Hall of Residence when I was a student and it used to end up in the strangest places; at the tops of steps, in a basement stairwell, over someone's garden wall. It was so easy to lift and move about. The poor owner must have rued the day he ever moved in near students! I now feel guilty looking at the value!

Its no longer original as they had to replace the non working speedocable part...
So that basicly makes it a wringer/banger/modified its useless now a "partscar" realy :)
