MG Midget and Sprite Technical - NMC - DODGY LINKS!!!

Only posting this in the the tech board as this is where the problem always seems to pop up.

In the last day or two old threads have been resurrected from the archive with very dodgy URLs added. I've now seen it happen four times this year.

I have used the "Report Abuse" function to bring them to the attention of Mike the webmaster. Okay, it's not personal abuse of any particular member, but I see it as abuse of the open nature of the forum and by extension an abuse of all of us.

I just had an email back from Mike to say he has cleaned up the threads and suspended the accounts used to plant these links.

Not intended as a topic for discussion - just a suggestion that if you spot any more reporting them is one way to protect the unwary.

We all need to do a better job clicking on those links and as often as possiable to see who there coming from to better report the problem

It would also help if we forward those links to all of our close friends and family in our email programs to help share the love of what we are facing

So lets all click those links and show those bast#rd hackers that we are not afraid of them

Just a side note.. is anyone elses computer starting to look green and paussy ?

No Prop, the idea is not to click on the link! Look at the thread, not the clicky bit. There was one last week and as a "look at this" it had a very odd name formed out of totally random letters.
