MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Oil pipe

For various reasons (the arguments pro and con have been well aired on this forum) I've decided not to refit an oil cooler. In addition, since the original fitted to the car is now US, pipes as well, I've decided to revert to the solid pipe from block to filter head - It's a 12V 1275 engine with a spin on oil filter. Trouble is the pipe is listed as no longer available so I was wondering if I could just get a short flexy pipe made up to connect the oil cooler pipe fittings on the block and filter head? Does anyone know what size the threads are on these fittings?
Alternatively does anyone have a spare pipe and banjo bolt they could sell me or part ex for the oil cooler fittings if they want to go the opposite way and fit a cooler where there was none before?
Cheers

If you have the standard oil cooler fittings, they are 1/2" BSP

Minispares supply oil pipes and fittings.

Hi Bill. I have the pipe and banjo (no sealing washers) shown in the picture which I am pretty sure are from an A-series engine, although there is a small chance they are from a B-series engine. They have been in my garage for years. You are welcome to them for the cost of postage, or I see you are in Scotland so if it is convenient for you to come to Troon you could collect it. Id visit a hydrolic hose shop and see what they recommend... look in farm and agerculture parts as thats a common service in those parts

Mike, thanks for the offer but I think yours must be from a B series, I'ts certainly longer than I need for the 1275.

Alan, checked Minispares - bit of an "ouch" on the price. £60 seems a bit steep considering I can get an oil cooler kit for not a lot more.

Prop, good idea - lots of agricultural suppliers and engineers round here.
