MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Oil Pressure gauge thread
Just a quick one. Does anyone know what the 1500 Oil pressure thread is? Is it 1/8 BSP? C |

Christian, I'm (almost) sure this is in the Archives |

Checked, Debs says it might be 1/8 BSP but wasn't sure. Couldn't find anything else |

I think you'll find it's 1/8 x 27 NPT (National Pipe Thread,) it's a tapered thread. Speedograph Richfield is a good source of fittings, see the link below. I've had stuff from them. http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/html/oil_pipe_lines.html Dave |

Christian I am terribly sorry - I don't have a pressure gauge - so no tapping to measure...! Its been so long since I last drove the car I forget what the dash has on it ! |
