MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Paul Hollingworth
I received an email today from the MGCC Midland Centre, regarding the cancellation of their AGM tomorrow. This is due to the fact that their honorary secretary, Paul Hollingworth, passed away yesterday. Paul was a fairly frequent visitor to these boards and often took part in technical discussions, particularly regarding camshaft design, in which he had quite a lot of experience with MG Rover and, presumably, their predecessors. RIP Paul. |

Very sad. Didn't know him personally only through his contributions here, however it is sad to hear of another of fellow like minded enthusiasts passing on. Thanks for letting us know Dave. |

Yep, sad. Was it age related or illness do you know? |

Thanks for letting us know Dave, I didn’t know him but read his technical discussions with interest although they often (usually) went over my head ! Will miss his input into the BBS which already seems to be going very quiet these days. R. |

Anam I have no more details, unfortunately. |

Only wondering, as the morbid thought that this kind of sad announcement might become more common. We ain't getting younger. |
