MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Polybush probs , Bits missing?
Poly bushes that fit the top trunion should they have steel washers or sleeves. The rubber bush has a steel sleeve that rolls over into a slight washer but the polybush I have has nothing . Is that right , surely it should have washers to stop the bush being crushed and deforming. Am I missing something? |

I think it depends on the manufacture...some have them.and others dont One perferred over the other...I cant say. Grease em up Prop |

IIRC the top fulcrum pin has a shoulder so cannot be over-tightened but by all means add a couple of washers to prevent the bush distorting too much. |

I think the SuperPro ones I have (still in the packet somewhere in the depths of my garage) have both washers and sleeves. I'll have a look later and get back to you. |
