MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Rear wheel bearing
Hi All, I am about to change the rear wheel bearing on my Frogeye. I have checked the archive and cannot find out whether the bearings have a right way round. The bearing have numbers on one side only. Haynes is of no use. Does it matter which way round the bearing go in? Thanks. Simon |

Simon, The rear wheel bearings are a standard deep groove ball bearing so it doesn't matter which way round they go. |

Hi Dave, Thanks. That was what I thought but I was having a crisis of confidence. I dont know whether you remember me , but I was a friend of Chris Norris. |

Simon, Yes I remember you, it has been awhile though. Is this a road car or are you still racing. |

Hi Guys, Yes still racing. I am racing my Sebring Sprite with the CSCC swinging 60s and rebuilding my ex turbo race car. Thanks for your help and hope to see you at a circuit some time. Simon |
