MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Seat cover
The base of my drivers seat is split saggy and horrible, the passenger seat and drivers seat back are fine. Anyone know of a trimmer who may supply just one base cover or has anyone got a good black base cover lying around It's the later type seat with the ladder centre section. Mike |

you'll probably find you'll also want/need to replace the seat foam and webbing (or diaphragm), if you do then when it's all done you might find you're sitting an inch or two higher for suppliers names that supply parts rather than full kits they'll be in the Archives, sorry I can't remember any at the moment (perhaps Woolies?) individual seat foam, protective webbing and seat support webbing (or diaphragm) you can get from the usual suspects |

Yes Nigel I don't mind replacing the foam and the diaphragm looks more supportive than the current webbing , did I read somewhere that they interchangeable ? |

Mike, I've got a feeling if you have the right year of seat the webbing and diaphragm might be interchangeable but I put the webbing on my seats a few years back and they were fine and not noticeably sagged since the diaphragm I'm sure would be more solid but there was(is?) lots of p*ss poor rubber products about so that would put me off plus they can be a bit of a pig to fit, three Shreddies required for breakfast |
