MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Speedo spares
Hi all. I have recentlty aken my speedo apart and found that 1 of the tiny black screws that hold the dial on is missing. The reason for taking it apart was because the dial had come loose. Heres a picture. Has any body got a broken speedo that I can steal the screw from. Thanks.

Boy! that's a rare one. The tailight is now located by the speedo. Was that rapid acceleration or a extremely quick stop? Sandy |

Hi Sandy, The red light is the tail light from the car in front.Simon |

So what did the guys butt taste like As to the screw....im guessing its a small micro type of screw, if so, take the speedo with you to a clock watch shop and see if they can match something up Im wondering if thats not a mgb speedo Prop |

Simon I think I've got some defunct dials in the spares boxes somewhere in the shed. Shame it hadn't happened before Oulton. Will dig them out over the weekend and take the screws out for you. You best let me have your address, send it to my email addy, I've not got yours now that you have left work. Andrew |

As per Andrew's post, I will see if I can dig out some screws off an old clock. |
