MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Steering Column bulkhead seal

Tomorrow we plan to install the steering column and complete the wiring loom hook-up.

Where the steering column comes through the firewall, how is this sealed? Is there a grommet or some other arrangement?

Great, that is in the box of bots, but can anyone provide a photo of it in situ?

It's the same as the early MGB.

Never had the column out of either B, do I correctly assume that the bellows is inside the firewall, with the narrower section uppermost?

Yes, there is a groove around the lower part which fits through the panel.
