MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Thermostat Housings

Hi folks.
I am sure this has been well documented, but I haven't been able to find it.
What options do I have in finding a thermostat housing for a 1275 engine with a vertical flow radiator.
All help appreciated.

Also, the Spridgets built from 10/'66 ~ 10/'67, those were the cars with an elbow that will fit (1275 w/ vertical flow radiator).

Are thermostat housings not available for all A series sprites?

Just not an item I have thought about much, but it seems the rule is that if there is one version of a part that is more expensive, that is probably the one I need!

Is a 'shortage' of the 1275 Spridget vertical rad thermostat housing?

Given how often they corode, you'd think they would be more freely available and cheaper than just MOSS.
