MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Tyres for Autosolos

Hi Guys

What tyres are people using for autosolos? As MSA tyre list 1B are not allowed this rules out all 'R' type yoko's. Currently I am still on 13" wheels and can't see the benefit of 14"

As Pete says A539 Yoko are probably the best bet as they are a v good all round tyre, the permitted tyres can be viewd here: http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/msa_forms/bluebooks/12/187_196_Common_Regulations_for_Permitted_Tyres_(L).pdf

Apologies ...I think I should have said the ones you CANNOT use are there.
A539 are not on List 1B so its ok to use them.

A539 were looking as the best option although next decision is 175/60 or 185/60 lol

I use 185s but find em cheap. Maybe thats why Will beats me?

brilliant tyre, cheap aswell, infact the only tyre i have driven my car on through all its adventures for the last three years.very predictable and easy on halfshafts too!
