MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Vertical flow rad temp sender

I've just fitted a new vertical flow radiator to my 68 1275.
Does the temperature sender need sealing washers, PTFE tape or some such. There wasn't anything fitted before. I'll be brushing the rust and muck off.

Ta Bob,
Thats reassuring. At least if it leaks, I'll be able to get it apart to fix!

I always put a bit of PTFE tape on the seat.

Dave, do you have a photo of everything on a Midget ! :)
I use Ptfe on the threads , not sure if it does much thinking about it, the seat seems a better idea.

Mike,

Not yet...but I'm working on it ;o)

In this case, I just re-used Mark's photo, although I do have quite a library of pics.
