just put another regulator on and goes up to 15.7. is that ok. |

Have you cleaned the contacts... use a glass pen from a camera shop I know weather makes a big differance on these things depending on your local climate...I had to adjust mine in the spring and fall until I upgraded to an alt with built in electronic reg Prop |

got the regulator working ok now and new battery.. question. when it was pumping out 18v would this have been the reason that i had 2 electronic ignition modules pack up after about 8 miles. im sure i asked this question to the supplier and im sure they said no it shouldnt make any difference but it seems logical to me. what du reckon. bob. |

Well... if your module doesn't fail now that you've corrected the over voltage issue you'll know the answer to your question. Norm |

i aint got one now. dont know whether to chance another. |
bob taylor |
Depending on what sort of electronic ignition it was, it may have its own voltage regulator, so the supply voltage could vary...within reason. |
