I notice this car didn't make its reserve, so it may be available again. I like the idea that "the car has been striped for welding work" - we need some original paint jobs.... |

Maybe the stripes will help it to go faster! |

Another restoration project on Ebay for anybody feeling brave. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29757&item=4535500757&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW For anybody not wanting to tackle a restoration my own YA may be for sale after the Spring Run. Watch this space! |

Long way off, but the background looks like a yard I would love to spend a few hours in. Rockers look better than a lot of other car I have looked at. The price is not too bad either. Good luck to someone. Safety Fast Paul YB |

<<Many extra spares including 13 doors, 2 master cylinders, 3 central jacking control units, 2 prop shafts, 2 boot lids and more.>> 13 doors! Isn't that overdoing it a bit? I could use a reasonable bootlid though.... |

Some info I got from the owner. Wish I had the time, space, money to have a go at this but it is enough to have my YB on the go since 1980. Still there are more important things to think of such as the real meaning of Easter etc but here is the info. for any one with the time.....lets hope it gets a buyer and not broken up (even more) for spares. "Hi there - the chassis number written on the body plate is Y5221 (body no. MG3966/3957) although I believe this body was put on the chassis by the previous owner. I do have a buff log book for chassis no. 0954 and engine no. 10718 - registered 20th March 1963 when imported from Malta (reg. no 283 AWV) I think it belongs to the chassis." |

You Guys in the U.K. are lucky! If it was on eBay U.S.A. it would be much, much, more. The "extra" parts would pay for the car. Darn shame shipping cost are so high. I have been wanting a YA or YB for a long time. Arch |
