I had seen your car but did not know you are a member here. Sorry to see you selling it we would like a Y type saloon but I would probably go for one a bit rougher and cheaper than yours as Jane only likes them with all new interiors and I would want to fit one of those type 9 5 speed conversions and tweak the engine a bit and it's silly doing all that stuff on a good condition original car.Jane also really likes SAs but it would be a long time before I sprang that sort of cash for a toy!

I looked at the Octagon classifieds, some of those cars look about right for what I would like to do. The ads were very old however so perhaps they are now gracing someone else's garage.

Dont bank on it Mr. Best - although we do love our cars, they dont fly (or should I say fall??) off the shelf like T Types seem to. That having said, the bar is certainly being raised. Good luck in your hunt and please send us details at www.mgytypes.org when you find one.
