MG MG Y Type - Bonnet hinge

Hello by chance does anyone have a spare set of bonnet hinges for a yt? Or know of a source for them

Hi Lucas, Can you be more specific as to what part you need ?.

Perhaps post a photo of a car with the part circled that you need.

My spare ones are a bit scrappy, but NTG in Ipswich UK (also trade as MGbits4U) sell new parts - The front one is part#C099B, and the Rear one is part#C099C.

Thanks for the response I am mistaken I need everything to fasten the bonnet together where the hinge is involved not sure what all this entails the car was apart when I got it and these pieces are missing

There is a brass rod that acts as the hinge pivot from front to rear. There is also a stainless steel dress piece, but this is not essential.

The brass rod needs to be the same length as your bonnet.
