MG MG Y Type - Boot Lid Badging

I need to remove the MG badge from the boot lid.
I am guessing that this is a nut & stud fixing through the outer skin. If so, can anyone tell me the size of box spanner required as it is impossible to actually see the fixing.
Or is it fixed in some other way?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I have just checked the box spanner I used and it is 8mm at one end and 9mm at the other. I wouldn't guarantee one end is the exact fit but it worked for me.

I think it is a BA sized nut either BA3 or BA4 Tony.

Thanks Peter, Thanks Paul
I was guessing possibly a BA size, but since my smallest box spanner is 1/4 Whit I didn't want to chase up a set to find that it wouldn't fit!

Put a dab of "Blue-Tak" inside the socket to secure the nut when it is unscrewed - you don't want to lose that nut inside the boot. There should be a star or spring washer too. A bit more tak will get that one too.

The boot badge on Y's is unique - it is not the same as a grille badge, so don't lose it !.

Thanks, Tony
I was always told to use grease in this sort of a situation, but I think Bluetack is probably going to be a much better option here!
