MG MG Y Type - Boot lid hinge driver's side
Hi All Bit of an outside chance i know but does anyone out there, preferably in the UK , have a drivers side boot lid hinge i can buy or borrow . I realise i can buy them from Vintage restorations and ultimately i shall have to, but just for fitting up the panels before paint anything will do as long as its an unbroken hinge. The Chancellor will also appreciate me spreading the load on the bank account!! Regards John B |

Hello John, I can offer a hinge, I assume you have a right hand driven car? Meaning you need a right hand side hinge? Please contact me offline. regards Walter |

John I have a drivers side hinge in reasonable nick but a bit pitted. Would prefer to just lend it to you. I am in Gloucester which is nearer. petervielvoyeATblueyonder.co.uk Peter |

Hi Peter ,so our paths cross again last time it was floorboards ! The loan of the hinge would be ideal, thank you. Given the cost of new ones i thought i would use my old ones for fitting the boot lid prior to painting, forgetting that the right one was broken. I will phone you to arrange it all. Regards John |

John B, Which part of the hinge is broken? John YB0362 |

Hi John Its actually the bottom part of the right hand hinge, one of the hinge pin corners has broken off. I have actually borrowed one from someone so i can fit the boot lid but if you have one spare i would be interested since NTG seem a bit slow to supply a pair of new ones. Cheers John B |
