Ross Are you talking about the ones at the front or the ones at the rear? The front ones are available from Moss Motors (www.mossmotors.com) part number 264-290 and you will also need spacer 264-060 as they are not quite the same as the originals. Also you will find that the hole at the top does not line up but if it doesnt you dont really need it if you have the lock washers in place on your other two nut/bolt sets. If it is the rear then repost and let me know and I will sort you out there too. Paul |

Thank you Paul. It is the front that I need I will follow up with Moss Thanks again Royston |

Paul, I need a pair of rears....nearest I've found are T type but don't know if they're suitable? Rob |

Rob There are two bump stops on the Y at the rear - one on the chassis rail, (small flat affair) and a larger one in the top of the check strap. Which are you after? Paul |

Paul I have a new pair of the lower rubbers, from Moss if I remember correctly, but its the upper chunky rubber that I've not been able to find. I have one sad original and the other completely missing. Regards Rob |

Rob My guess is it is the same as Moss part number 266-500 (same part number at www.moss-europe.co.uk and www.mossmotors.com). Just to be on the safe side you might want to call and order it and ask for it on a Sale or Return basis to ensure it is correct. Moss are usually very good about returns so long as they are not fitted/marked/damaged in any way. NTG list part number S930T as the rebound strap for a TD/TF complete with the rubber attached. The TD/TF was an upside down shortened Y chassis and I cannot think that the rebound strap was so wildly different to the ones on a Y, Y/T or YB so depending on whether you are good at bonding rubber to metal (special adhesives etc.?) you might want to give Mike Green or Paul Banyard a call at NTG and ask what the difference would be between a S930T and presumably an S930Y ... apart from the put the S930T upside down in the box, LOL! I doubt that the TD chassis has a rebound strap, because it is not underslung. Therefore there probably will be a rubber block fitted to the underside of the rail. |

I understand your sceptism Remo but I would refer you to http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=47417 and http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=4517. The Moss-Europe picture though is much clearer than my initial viewing of the Moss Motors one so the lower TD rubber may not be as suitable as I first thought. The best thing would be for you (Rob King) to purchase one from Moss-Europe on a sale or return and see if it will work then let us know. Certainly the part number 266-500 is NOT appropriate for MG Y use. The lower rubber pad on a Y is a flat one - like NTG part number R318Y. But MG TDs and TFs did have a rebound strap even though they were upside down Ys. Paul |
