Hey, I have no branch pipe at all. Anyone have one for sale? Tom in cold but dry upstate NY. |

Tom The Y branch pipe is different to that used on a TD. The only vendor that sells them is NTG - see http://mgbits.com/contents/en-uk/p8849_Water_Branch_Pipe.html. Paul |

Tom & Paul A Victorian (Australian) company HP Hi_flow manufactured Y pipes for Y types and has them for sale. They are jet-coated and cost $50 (Aust). See http://www.hi-flow.com/HP009eEC.html I have purchased one and it compares favouribly with an old one Tony Slattery has. A bit short on each end but this can be fixed with longer hoses. Stuart |

Are you sure its coloured black Paul? Engine colour as far as I am aware and noted as such on the Colour Schemes in the Technical Centre: Which states: Engine block, head, tappet chest inspection cover, water outlet manifold, gearbox case, oil pump housing, crankshaft pulley, water pump, water branch pipe, throttle return spring clip, front engine steady bracket (yoke under water pump) Coloured green on early engines (?) and then red.
