Superb effort to all who contributed. Who would have thought all those years ago on the old "dial up modem" back when Paul first sent me an email link to the site, where this website would be today.

Back at the beginning I was at college using a search engine called "Netscape" to find any Y Type related pages. Back then my dream was to own a YB that could be used on the road. My inspiration was Y's on parade and watching the gallery grow.

The success of International Y Type Register is one that Paul should rightly be very proud of, I can't think of many other single model sites that even touch this site for content, especially when one thinks it is independent of "adverts, pop up's and club funding" No new website changes needed every 5 years here!

Yes, congratulations Paul, and we owe you a huge debt of thanks for all the work that keeps the site so good. I remember back in 2002 excitedly watching the page fill up on my dial-up line which gave the dizzying download speed of about 300kb/min! The site has been an important part of my Y experience ever since.

You are, indeed, a legend!
