MG MG Y Type - Jackall Parts Needed
Im restoring a 1949 MGYT and am in need of 6 of the 1/4" tube Nuts for the Jackall system, the tee the rear jack lines are attached to and the flex hose from the chassis to the rear end. I also am looking for the Chrome window mount to the body. Any assistance would be great. Thanks Kim Herford Mission B.C. Canada 604 864 1954 kim.herford@gmail.com |

Hi Kim For the Jackall parts - try https://www.svwspares.co.uk/. I have heard mixed reviews recently about SVW Spares as to their responsiveness but it is the best I can come up with currently and they MAY be able to help. I might have a T piece at home somewhere but canot state categorically as I am not there currently. Chrome window mount - do you mean the side pieces for the windshield that secure the windshield frame to the body? Paul |

Hi Kim, the MGCC UK Y Register shop have had stock in the past and they are also available from NTG UK who also have the rear hose or locally try a Hydraulics shop that sell couplings. Note these flare nuts (Tube Nuts) are 24 TPI and different to most other similar fittings. Also strongly recommend you buy a set of imperial flare nut spanners they an absolute must for hydraulic, fuel and brake lines as well. Cheers Richo |

I am also looking for the rear T union for the jackall system. NTG has the hose (a little $$$) but not the T union. I have not had much luck with SVW Spares. Have emailed them a couple time with no response |
