I have seen them go on eBay for more than double this sum! Bearing in mind they were originally £40 this one isnt at much of a premium and someone would have to pay me a lot more before I part company with mine!

BTW, the same seller offers a hardcover owners/repair manual for the Y.

I've bid on it already, so please DON'T bid on it, unless you want to disappoint me badly. ;-)

Well someone got a bargain on the book - I have seen them typically go for £120 and more recently! As before though, wild horses could not separate me from mine!!

That said, the CDs are excellent value!

I have just been catching up with additions and comments to this site and saw the reference to the said books.
I bid for and purchased both books, being a recent Y owner and restorer.
I am awaiting delivery. I trust you have got over your disappointment, please be assured they are coming to a good and safe new home, where they will be read, cherished and respected!

I will try to never knowingly outbid you again without first making you aware of my interest in the same item.

On a more serious note and regarding another thread, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing, he was obviously a very special person, and I too would offer thoughts, prayers and compassion for family and friends.

God bless all who know the sense of loss at this time.

Don't feel bad about it. I have a perfect earlier manual with the loose pages, which is usefull when copying for real workshop use.

I was only bidding out of collectors interest as it is a later bound hardcover. It would have been added to my ever growing collection of MG workshop- and instruction manuals.

It's annoying that eBay hides the bidders name. Before that, I would back off when I saw Paul Barrow bidding on Y-bilia.
