MG MG Y Type - metal strip on the bottom of YT doors

Did we ever identify someone who can supply lengths of the metal strip on the bottom of YT doors that holds the rubber draft excluder strip in place? If so, who was it please and where?

it is from a brake tube, cut it with the sidegrinder

Yes that's the part Franz - but I do not have access to the tools you do so hence why I am having them made. I will point this out to my fabricator though.

Paul you need a vice , first i used my english wheel, but with a vice it is much easyer to make it,
everyone shoul have a sidegrinder for 30 Euro ;-)
ok a simple welding machine is a tool....

but you have the dimension and how to make it
for me it was less then 20 Euros for the parts
