MG MG Y Type - MG YA angled front brake banjos

Im restoring a YA but have hit a potential parts problem. The front brakes angled banjo between the flexi pipe and the wheel cylinder is unique to these cars and possibly TAs. NTG are now out of stock for these brass banjos and I need a pair to get on with the resto. Ive tried the banjo at the front of the master cylinder and this fits without appearing to stretch the flexi on full lock too much. It is clearly not angled to meet the flexi pipe like the original banjos however and Im not confident of using them. Anyone got a spare pair of angled banjos,if not know where I can get them from or have a view on the master cylinder brackets as a replacement ?

Hello, I have a spare pair in Australia, if you don't find any closer to home. You can contact me direct via the IMGYTR "Contact Us" page.

I have lots of Y-Type spares, so happy to help those in need.

Is Washington State USA any closer? I have a pair on my bench here I was about to toss in the trash that cut off some hoses a while back.

John,
I have a pair for you. I'll soon be sending a TD bulkhead to Bristol and I could put them in the toolbox. We could make arrangements for you to collect them from Chris.

Can't help you with these,John, but while the subject is open - may I ask if anyone has had problems with fluid leakage from this area after re-assembly?
Having used new copper washers, duly annealed, & polishing the banjo bolt faces and done it twice, I'm still not 100% confident that I have a good long term seal, Most obviously, I have the bolt to the wheel cyl as tight as I think it should be.
Any comments & advice would be most appreciated.

I have also used new annealed copper washers with the same results.

But re-fitting the original ratty looking originals (with just a file trim) provided no weeping - go figure !.

Sometimes we have to accept what the car wants, not what we want. These cars are possessed you know !.
