MG MG Y Type - MG YT Ash Framework
Does anyone know of the existence of plans/drawings for the ash frame of a YT - I don't think my wife will let me dismantle hers to measure it all up!

The only bit of the YT that is sheet metal over wood is the door panel. As mine are currently stripped down ready for paint I will pull one back from the painters and measure up and post back later. Paul |

Apologies for the delay - I now have 8 photos. Have a look at them and tell me which dimensions you would like or would like more detailed shots of. I have taken pictures to show the joints and small pieces too. Paul General door structure. ![]() |

Many thanks, Paul. Together with the actual doors on my wife's YT these will do nicely. Andy |

Hello, There is also wood at the top of both rear Quarter Panels which the side curtains brackets mount to. |
