MG MG Y Type - NEC Classic Car Show -MG YT

I spent yesterday at the NEC Classic Car show where I was pleasantly surprised to see Peter Vielvoye's handsome YT very prominently displayed on the MG Owners' Club massive display stand area. Richard Monk the MD of MGOC was delighted to have the car on dispay as it created quite a lot of interest from the visitors. Thank you Peter for making the car available to a larger audience who will see it over the three days of this great show.

Thanks Keith, My YT was there on the Owners club stand as a guest of the Octagon Car Club. It was through Jerry's initiative in his new role as an Octagon committee member to foster good inter club relations.
Sorry I missed you on the Friday, I did meet quite a few owners and interested visitors on both the Friday and Sunday, hopefully I promoted the Y cause.

Peter, I was at the show for three days this year as I had a car in the Ford section, but despite my time there I had very little opportunity to look around.

However, I did see your lovely YT and wondered why it was on the MGOC stand....now I know.

As I approached it I got rather excited as I saw a 'for sale' flyer on the bonnet!

On closer inspection I saw it was advertising your YA.....do please let me know if you ever consider reducing the size of the fleet further (I wont hold my breath though!)

It depends on a number of things....I would like Peters....I couldn't afford Davids....I don't want a basket case (had one of those!)

Because I have a half finished one in the UK that I had intended to bring over here but then bought one over here! Have a look on YTs on Parade, then email me off line. It has just had a complete respray in Sequoia Cream and all I want to do is recover the costs of the car.
