MG MG Y Type - Old MG Colours
Some of you might know I have a respray garage in the North East. I just thought I would tell those who don't know. If you want to paint your cars in original colours or need touch up paint, you better get stocked up soon as it is getting very hard to get old colours. As of the end of this year, all but very few places can sell anything other than Water-based and they don't formulate colours older than about 10 years back. |

You might be able to find cellulose for a little while yet, but paint suppliers can't supply any 2K paint as of the end of this year. |

Forgot to say, cellulose primers are getting difficult to get now too. P/S Why can I post as a guest on here sometimes and others I have to log in? |

AUTOPAINTS in cardiff told me that cellulose paint colours will still be available for classic cars but will be imported from Eastern Europe, the catch is you won't be able to afford them. I suppose in China they are still splashing the stuff on regardless ! |
