MG MG Y Type - Pathe News Films
This may have been referred to before but an interesting short film on which you can see TDs, Ys and RM Rileys can be found at: http://www.britishpathe.com/video/mg-factory-abingdon/query/MG Once again apologies if this is old hat or is on this site somewhere. |

For some reason or other, even with my firewall disabled, I cannot see any videos on the Pathe site. Does anyone else have this problem as I would love to overcome it and see this video? Is it because I am not using a UK based server? Any geeks out there?? Paul |

Managed it this time - very fun video thank you David. I can enjoy them at last! Please keep them coming as you find them. I see this one has a Y chassis being worked on at about 40 secoonds in as well as some in the background at the end. Paul |

I went through the Pathé site some time ago and referenced all the MG-related films I could find. Results and links to the files are at http://web.mac.com/djwardell/MGTF1500/home/Entries/2009/11/4_MG_related_items_from_British_Pathé.html David |

Some nice stuff there...the car has reg MNC 850 I think. |

Look at 1:33 how there are oil spots on the floor, from those brand-new TDs! A must-see for all MOT testers. |

Sadly it looks like the DVLA have no record of MNC 850 any more so it is probably no longer with us. Paul |
