That is YT4167 I think ?.

When it was last registered in NSW it carried the registration plate "MG-257".

Correct former owner Glenn Whitehead who imported it back to the UK from Australia.

Isn't that a standard dealers ploy. If you cant sell it then raise the price! Also with David's YT going for what it did, then the vendors may think that at some £8.5k cheaper it's worth the price. Paul is quite correct it was Glen Whitehead's car and I believe that he originally sold it a couple of years ago, though I could be wrong. It was shown to Prince Phillip at Windsor in 2010 (?)

There are at least Eight YT's that have left Australia and been shipped back to the UK in the last 20 years according to the IMGYTR register.

If the trend continues, prices for YT's will rise here and fall in the UK over time - it might be a long time though ?.
