The YT is very interesting. Er how do you know it hasn't got an XPAG engine Richard? I would have thought that for a fully restored YT to the standard that the guy is claiming is not too unreasonable and will include the correct engine. The guy sounds like a professional restorer. Pay a visit to Norfolk to have a look at the car would be the answer before any one shells out any money upfront. Jerry |

Vendor told me, when I brought another item off him via eBay. Richard |

I have corresponded with the vendor by email as I have an XPAG engine (53,000 miles)from a 1948 Y which unfortunately is on a car that is beyond reasonable cost for restoration. I shall forward all details to the register in due course. Having offered it for his consideration he tells me that he has a fully rebuilt XPAG engine, not the original, but of the same year ready to put in and is disappointed that incorrect information has been posted. Please be assured I have no other involvement with this project or vendor, but post this info to give a fair up to date position. Bob |
