MG MG Y Type - Rear Bumper Position

Can I ask people to make a couple of measurements to help me. My YB came with a non-standard rear bumper fixing when I got it and I am now trying to return it to original. I have the original "hockey stick" irons but a rear chassis repair has lost the original mounting holes so I need to know how far the front edge of the rear bumper is from the bodywork. It would also help if I knew how far the rear mounting face of the "hockey stick" was from the bodywork. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi again,
the last of the three.
It doesn't look like it, but the scale is level with the face of the "hockey stick " bracket. That is,to say, with the rearward face of said bracket. The bracket seems to more or less sit on the floor of the chassis member. But (borrowing a caveat from Tony Slattery) these things are not all the same size. (The body on my YT seems to sit a bit forward, and things like the gear shift base don't line up with the hole in the gear box cover.(Well they didn't initially, so I had to shift the access hole a bit. Enough said.)

And, I have assumed the YT is the same as your YB in this regard at least.

Let's know if you need more.

good luck.

Thanks KGM. That's just what I need. Do others agree that the saloon is the same as the tourer?
