MG MG Y Type - rear hub bearings

hi every one, I would like to pick you brains,, I have just bought 2 rear hub bearing and seals, they were sold to fit MGYA & YT, the part number is R6208 made in E.U. On the label it is printed MG TC REAR HUB BEARING, They also come with the oil seal. the question is will they fit a MGYA as they were advertised. I don't want to get in touch with the seller yet because they might tell me what I want to hear. also at this point in time I because the car is don't want to dismantle one of the hubs because the car is in use. will TC bearings fit a YA back hub. thanks for your time don

Hi Don, I thought the Y series was more akin to the TD TF series, I have both a TF and TC and they are different.
This is like talking to myself.

Hi,

You can get the bearing in the modern sealed for life form, if that does suit the purist you can pull the rubber seals out and use the bearing in the traditional form. These seem to be working well in my car and the rubber seals may stop the grease being washed out.
