MG MG Y Type - rotten YB on US ebay

Am browsing US eBay whilst in Florida and saw this sorry beat up and very rotten YB. Not sure what the engine is from nor the gear box. Note University Motors plate on dashboard so presumably a post production import.

Engine is a BMC B Series engine, probably a 1500cc 3 main as fitted to MG Z Series and the gearbox too - probably a ZA looking at the round tower on the gear lever. It has been fitted with a single carb manifold that probably came from a Wolseley 4.

O ... M ... G ...! Where would you begin? What is the knobby thing on the r/hand end of the dash? Still, plenty to salvage there, for parts. John.

Looks like a badly wired up horn push. Am impressed by the indicator stalk! Not sure what the knob is next to the auxiliary temp gauge below the dash.
