MG MG Y Type - Spotlamp Bulbs
Years back, I bought two 7" spotlamps that look identical but sport different numbers: Lucas S.F.T.700S Lucas S.L.R.700S Can anyone please let me know what type bulbs they take? Anton, YT 4220 P.S.: it would be nice to know when and on what cars they where used... ![]() |

Anton, SFT is a fog lamp. SLR is a driving lamps. Different lamps for different purposes, requiring different bulbs. thanks, Larry |

Larry is correct Anton - the link I gave for the BPF (British PreFocus) bulb. I would suggest you contact Gregorys Autoparts (listed on the LINKS PAGE) at info@gregorysautoparts.co.uk Anton and ask them what bulbs they have. Paul |

Actually Paul, The next one down on your link (BPFs) is the one for 700 series fog and driving lights. Cheers Tony |

Thank you, Gentlemen Much appreciated. I will have to use them as a pair (either fog- or driving lamp), since according to Swiss law, any front illumination has to come in pairs. Anton |
