MG MG Y Type - Spotlamp Bulbs

Years back, I bought two 7" spotlamps that look identical but sport different numbers:
Lucas S.F.T.700S
Lucas S.L.R.700S
Can anyone please let me know what type bulbs they take?
Anton, YT 4220

P.S.: it would be nice to know when and on what cars they where used...

Anton, SFT is a fog lamp. SLR is a driving lamps. Different lamps for different purposes, requiring different bulbs. thanks, Larry
Larry Brown

Larry is correct Anton - the link I gave for the BPF (British PreFocus) bulb.

I would suggest you contact Gregorys Autoparts (listed on the LINKS PAGE) at info@gregorysautoparts.co.uk Anton and ask them what bulbs they have.

Actually Paul, The next one down on your link (BPFs) is the one for 700 series fog and driving lights.

Thank you, Gentlemen
Much appreciated. I will have to use them as a pair (either fog- or driving lamp), since according to Swiss law, any front illumination has to come in pairs.
