MG MG Y Type - Trafficator Control Ring remanufacture

I am looking into getting some trafficator turn switch control rings made up. Very often these have failed when the clockwork mechanism seizes up and they are broken due to excess force being put on them.

The design process for a 3D CAD drawing will not be cheap and will be in the region of $220 alone!

Hi Paul.
I don't need one of these, but when the time comes if it helps to get the numbers up to secure a batch at a reasonable price, count me in.
I believe it is very important that when someone goes to the trouble of remanufacturing an item for our cars, which is not already available elsewhere, that they are supported and if necessary the part is "put on the shelf" for the day when it is needed.
Will be interested to see what the likely final cost will be.

Hi Paul,
i also would have liked to see remanufactured the split slipring assambly on the steering colume, i have seen a lot disintergrating and in a very sorry state part due i think to the modern replacement front pipes being fitted which bring the redhot exhaust pipe much closer to the colume than the factory original or replacment pipes did.
