MG MG Y Type - TYme Canberra 2016

Just letting those not attending (a bit far for non Oz contributors) that there is one YA (3904), one YB and six Y/Ts (4060, 4310, 4320, 4825, 5139, 5156) attending TYme in Canberra over the weekend of 7 - 9 October.
The Saturday display is on the lawns of the National Museum of Australia. Around 40 T and Y types are expected to be in attendance, plus a NA, some As and Bs and more modern MGs.
I or someone else will post some photos after the event.
I will be trailering Y/T 4310 down as it is not quite ready for Registration (brakes and lights not finished, plus some rust needs to be removed).

As promised, over the next few posts I will add photos of Ys at the 2016 TYme Canberra on the weekend.

6 Y/Ts (including my unregistered one) and a couple of Y sedans. Deila and Peter Rayment drove thier YB over 1300 km to attend (currently driving another 1300km home) and received the award for the furthest distance travelled of any of the Ys and Ts in attendance.

I thought I would add this photo of my Y Tourer with 2 owners, myself and Rob Chilman who was an owner of the car 3 owners before me.

I believe the 350m run each way from the trailer park to the display point is the furthest the Y has run for over 20 years. Rob rode in the Y on the way back to the trailer. His first ride in the Y.

Before you start pointing out problems with the car. Yes, it has TC headlights with glass upside down, non standard driving and fog lights, YB emblems on hubcaps (cannot be seen) and a non MG mirror on windscreen support.
