Dave, further to the last, if you go to the BBS archive type wheel bearings opt for exact match of these words you will find several historical BBS threads which give good advice as always on this forum. |

Hi Dave see thread on attached link it has bearing numbers and supplier, cheaper than octagon club and you can get sealed for life bearings. http://www2.mg-cars.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=mgbbs&access=&mode=archiveth&subject=13&subjectar=13&thread=201307071631195493 Cheers Chris |

Sorry Dave the link does not seem to work so I have copied and attached the post I sent hope that helps. You need the following bearings for the front wheels 6304 deep groove ball bearing size 20x52x15mm 6305 deep groove ball bearing size 25x62x17mm I fitted sealed bearings which are sealed for life and never need greasing. The being numbers are as follows 6304.2RSR 6305.2RSR Have a look at http://simplybearings.co.uk I got mine from them and they delivered next day. Hope that helps chris |

Thanks for the info Chris just what I needed too. On the subject of the internal oil seal that fits inside the screw in ring is the near/left hand ring a left hand thread ? I am having great difficulty in moving it in either direction. Thanks a lot in advance John B |
