OK, finally succeeded in submitting a link to a really "interesting" Y. According to the Dutch seller this rarely offered car is restored. He only asks 12.500 euro for it. If I look closely I think it has MGA/B running gear?

Looks like MGB running gear to me. Dash also not factory.

I see the ad has expired - did he sell it? At the end of the day it is still a Y - a bit excentric maybe, but still a Y!

According to the seller it is sold, I'm trying to track the buyer.

The "horrendousness" of this car was 16" wires at front, 15" at the back fitted with probably worn modern low profile tyres, the blue transmissioncover carpet and the rather crude homemade dashboard.

That said, it does have potential for more effortless cruising although a price of 12.500 euro's is steep indeed (I think).

Please continue to track it down. Maybe the buyer would like to put it back to standard? It will be good for the Registrar to get the chassis and body numbers etc. and owner details though.
